14 weeks

Hi again - haven't been online for a while as I've been a bit preoccupied with figuring out how to fit my entire fist in my mouth. Now that I've realised I only actually need my thumb I have a bit more time (not to mention fingers) to spare, so here I am. So - now that I'm a big girl (14 weeks old as of yesterday) Mum has gone back to work and Dad now looks after me all day. He's very good at it and sings to me all day. I particularly like one by Paul McCartney where he sings "She's my baby" and always grin hugely at Dad when he sings it.
I know you want to know what I look like, so here's a picture of me how Mum likes me best - asleep in my buggy, and another one of me looking rather astonished with a cool hat on that a friend's mum made for me. I think I'm astonished because they put me in the buggy and took me for a walk when it was dark. But it was nice and warm and lots of fun so I had a little sleep while Mum and Dad walked.

Hi everyone
My name is Ruby and I was born on Saturday the 22nd of July 2006 at 5am. My Mum is just figuring out how to operate this 'blog' thing and while she does, here's a photo of me to be going on with. I think I'm very 'Anne Geddes' in this pose. I was at my Aunty Kate's house having a big sleep in her bean bag. I'm 10 weeks old here.

You can expect to hear from me with tales of the daft things my parents have done cos they couldn't find my operating manual and updates of all the clever things I will learn how to do as time goes on. And of course, gorgeous photos of me just like this one.
